LX Pantos Opens Commercial Cargo Terminal

at Incheon Airport

- State-of-the-art 2,069㎡ facility featuring advanced security systems, specialized trucks, and integrated real-time monitoring

- Strategically positioned to meet rising e-commerce cargo demand from China

- New weekly Incheon-Chicago freighter service enhances global logistics capabilities

LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) has officially inaugurated a cutting-edge commercial cargo terminal within the logistics complex at Incheon International Airport.

As a government-certified commercial cargo operator under the Aviation Security Act, LX Pantos is authorized to independently manage in-house security screening and ULD (unit load device) processing. The certification eliminates the need for additional screening at airport cargo terminals, streamlining operations and significantly reducing cargo handling lead times for faster delivery to aircraft.

The newly launched terminal, located in the Incheon International Airport Free Trade Zone Logistics Complex, spans 2,069 and is outfitted with advanced technologies to optimize operations. Key features include state-of-the-art security systems, specialized trucks for secure transportation, and a comprehensive control center enabling seamless, real-time monitoring.

The terminal's opening aligns with the surging transshipment volume at Incheon Airport, driven by increasing e-commerce demand from China. With this trend expected to grow, LX Pantos anticipates a steady increase in demand for its commercial cargo terminal services, further solidifying its position as a trusted logistics partner in the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition to the terminal launch, LX Pantos has introduced a dedicated freighter service connecting Incheon to Chicago, further enhancing its global air cargo network. This weekly service, operational from January 19 to December 2025, uses a B777F freighter aircraft. Departing Incheon Airport every Sunday at 4:00 p.m., the flight transits through Anchorage and arrives at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport the same day at 3:45 p.m. local time.

Commenting on this new service, Oh Geun-taek, head of the Air Cargo Division at LX Pantos, said, “With our extensive expertise in charter operations and the advanced capabilities of our new commercial cargo terminal, we are committed to delivering dependable and innovative logistics solutions to meet the evolving needs of our global clients.”
