Pantos Logistics signed an MOU with "KTZ Express", a subsidiary of the Kazakhstani national railroad administration, at KINTEX in Goyang City on April 17. The MOU signing ceremony for the expansion of rail freight service was joined by executives of the two companies, such as Senior Managing Director Lee Yong-ho of Pantos Logistics forwarding business and General Manager Abdurashid Sakenov of KTZ Express.
Through this MOU, the two companies will
▲ Develop block train service for shipments from China to Europe, such as LGE/LGD.
▲ Increase sales of freight from Europe to China by utilizing block train.
▲ Conduct W&D and IT consulting to support the transportation of KTZ Express exports.
▲ Develop new logistics business utilizing KTZ Express logistics infrastructure.
The two companies will make additional contracts by creating concrete collaboration plans for each business where the two parties can cooperate in the future. They will also discuss new businesses where they can gradually cooperate.
They plan to establish various business cooperation methods to generate synergy effects by strengthening Pantos Logistics' rail freight price competitiveness and connecting the businesses of both companies, such as developing a new route.
