Pantos Logistics established a branch in 'Kenya' which is the hub of the East African logistics.
Pantos Logistics, the largest logistics business which aims at 'one-stop global logistics service' first entered East Africa in the field. On last 8th, Pantos Logistics clarified that it completed the establishment of the corporate body in Kenya which is the hub of the East African logistics and started business.
Pantos Logistics' branch in Kenya was established in Mombasa which is the largest port city of East Africa. It gets to secure a bridgehead in the East African area by entering Kenya this time after Pantos Logistics first entered Egypt which connects south and north of the African Continent to each other and South Africa respectively in the field last year.
Pantos Logistics plans to engage in the omnidirectional logistics projects including export and import air freight and sea freight, customs clearance, domestic logistics, operation of warehouses and express mail service for the global businesses which entered these areas.
Also, Pantos Logistics plans to have the synergy effect by forming the strong logistics belt in Middle East and Africa as it established branches in Saudi Arabia(2009), Dubai (2005), Oman (2008) and Turkey (2007). Pantos Logistics is the only company which is currently operating the self networks in Middle East and Africa by building them as the Korean logistics business.
Kenya which is called 'a black pearl of the Africa' and has a population of 40 million people is the center of East Africa and hub of logistics that is 4 leader countries of Africa with South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria. Logistics of the several neighboring countries including Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia is mostly started from the port of Mombasa in Kenya or Nairobi which is its capital. Recently, the Kenyan government is focusing on fostering the 2nd and 3rd industry for economic development and advancement of the industrial structure, attracting each country's investment by establishing 'Kenyan Version 2030' to improve three infrastuctures of roads, electricity and water and forming the infrastructure.
