Pantos Undersea Cable Transportation Project

Pantos engaged in the project of transporting oversized undersea cables (length: 13.7km; weight: 1,400 tons; diameter: 23.4cm) from Donghae-si in Gangwon-do to Rotterdam in the Netherlands (distance: about 20,000 km [11,013 nautical miles]).
The transportation project was carried out for LS Cable’s export of 150V undersea cables and 150/275kV underground cables to Dong Energy, which is a Danish national energy business that is the largest wind power business in Europe. This was the first export transportation project ever attempted for oversized undersea cables.
