Pantos Logistics signs MOU with Sinotrans Logistics to expand the local operation in China
Pantos Logistics announced that it has signed an MOU focusing on the partnership and development of a long-term cooperation model with Sinotrans Logistics, one of the biggest logistics service providers in China, with the goal of expanding the logistics business in the Chinese region.
Designated as the Best Chinese Logistics Company for 2 years in a row, Sinotrans Logistics is a Chinese national company managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council with grade of 5A (the best in China). With manpower of more than 29,000 personnel and revenue reaching 8.45 trillion KRW (45.7 billion RMB) in 2014, the company is the largest national comprehensive logistics service company providing ocean, air, train, international courier, and W/H services.
Sinotrans with its local network covering 30 provinces and municipalities in China and Pantos Logistics with its global network of 193 partners in 41 countries will accelerate efforts to expand penetration into the fast-developing e-commerce market and 3PL sector by utilizing each other’s strengths.
Pantos Logistics also plans to utilize this opportunity to launch new businesses by attracting cargo from B2B and B2C e-commerce transactions between Korea and China and reinforcing mutual cooperation.
