LX Pantos Forges Strategic Logistics Partnership
with Guiyang, China

- Memorandum of understanding signed with Guiyang Logistics
Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise
LX Pantos (CEO Yong-ho Lee) has taken a significant step to enhance its presence in China’s logistics market through a strategic partnership with Guiyang, a major logistics and industrial hub in Southwest China.
On November 28, 2024, at the LX Pantos headquarters in Jongno, Seoul, CEO Yong-ho Lee met with Hu Zhongxiong, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee Secretary of Guiyang, to discuss opportunities for advancing Korea-China logistics cooperation.
Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, has rapidly emerged as a critical center for China’s digital economy and IT sector, with nearly half of its GDP generated from the digital economy. Its strategic location and burgeoning inland market make it a key player in China’s logistics landscape.
During the meeting, both sides prioritized strategies to promote Korea-China logistics cooperation and agreed to establish a strategic partnership. As part of this initiative, LX Pantos signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Guiyang Logistics Co., Ltd., a state-owned logistics enterprise based in Guiyang.
The agreement sets the stage for joint efforts to develop new transportation projects and integrated logistics systems to enhance Korea-China trade flows; leverage complementary strengths to expand logistics services across China’s inland regions and international markets, and; provide robust logistics support for Guiyang-based companies engaging in exports and imports with the Korean market.
This collaboration reflects LX Pantos’s commitment to driving innovation and global expansion in the logistics sector. The company has achieved several strategic milestones in 2024, including opening a large-scale rail terminal near Budapest, Hungary; advancing a Korea-China joint venture for multimodal transport services; expanding into resource logistics markets in Indonesia; signing an MOU with a state-owned shipping company in Vietnam and; developing a trans-Caspian transport route to enhance access to international markets.
